on the needles...

My sweater is actually off the needles at the moment. I finished the body and now have to sew in the zipper (yikes) and develop a game plan for the collar. I'm thinking shawl or sailor...

I just finished an 8" square for Cheryl's contest. It's kind of meh...the yarn (LB Kool Wool) doesn't show the stitch pattern well. But off it will go in tomorrow's mail.

Hell's Poncho awaits my return. But I'm putting that off a little longer. I just started the lacy bonnet from Erika Knight's Knitting for Two (in Pakucho Organic Cotton) and it's so freaking cute, I can't wait to finish it. But I need to sleep. After I finish frosting cupcakes, that is.

Your bonnet's turning out well! Are you doing that in the round?? It looks a bit different than mine, more filled in around that startburst. Mine didn't fill in until I seamed it.

Don't you just love that pattern?! And the rest of the book too?! I want to knit everything in there!

So, since the poncho has become hell's poncho, I guess having my sister-in-law hire you to make one for her dd, along with a matching one for her agd is pretty much out of the question...unless maybe the price is set to the tune of $3500.00? LOL

Thanks FG! I do love the book and it is on my wish list! ;)

And R O F L mah pal....

I don't think I could be convinced to attempt another poncho of such magnitude. Matching sweaters, maybe...
