Well, I submitted two patterns to KnitPicks today. I figure, what the heck? The worst they can say is no thanks, I doubt they will tell me that I suck. Best case scenario, they like 'em and want to give me free yarn to knit them and maybe pay me a little $ for them. What have I got to lose?
